This Fennel Pear Salad is one of my favorite salads. Packed with vitamins and nutrients, this salad is a great choice for lunch or for a good healthy dinner. Eating more raw food can be beneficial for your overall health. According to a study, over 75% of our consumed food should be raw.
Fennel Pear Salad can be even improvised and add a couple of green leaves such as watercress, rocket, tatsoi, or spinach.
First, chop the fennel on a cutting board and add it to a bowl.
Peel the orange and remove the segments from the pith. You can save the juice during that and add it later to the dressing or just to the salad itself.
Wash and cut the pear into pieces and add them to the bowl.
Chop the pecans and add them to the bowl.
Mix well and serve right away.
If you don't have a citrus dressing you can just use plain vinaigrettes such as one with just lemon juice, olive, and salt.
